Progression - New Skool Skydiving   FREEFLYING AND SKYSURFING

Freeflying (FF)
This is the name given to the discipline of the sport that has ‘free’ form and allows you to fly in any position you can imagine - on your back, sitting, head high or even head down. The only limit in this discipline is your own imagination. Generally free-flyers start by following the ‘FF1’ instructional route, and jump with a coach and then with friends as their abilities improve. Nowadays this area of the sport has its own competitive arena and is the most spectacular area of the sport. World-class freeflyers will leave both skydivers and non-skydivers alike absolutely gob-smacked at what they can do in freefall.

Skysurfing
Literally strapping a SurfBoard to your feet and seeing what you can make it do in freefall. This is an advanced skill and normally people will train in Free Flying prior to taking up Sky Surfing.
