STYLE AND ACCURACY
Accuracy
Accuracy is the oldest facet of the sport. The aim is one of precision landing. The jumpers open their parachutes immediately on leaving the aircraft, then fly down, and attempt to land on a small disc about the size of a sixpence.
Style
Style is another of the oldest parachuting disciplines. It's a freefall discipline whereby jumpers exit the aircraft at around 7500' and have to do combinations of 360 degree turns and somersaults as fast as possible. The fastest and the most accurate is the winner. |
