Equipment Costs
Equipment costs vary, the main expense being the parachute. Equipment is supplied by the club whilst you are training but once you qualify you will certainly want your own rig. A new parachute at the 'Ferrari' end of the range can cost £3000 but you can get very good high performance parachutes for maybe £1000 or less. There is however a lot of good second hand equipment for sale which can cost as little as £400. Furthermore, parachutes last for years and years so you'll not looking at a regular expense.

You can hire equipment from the club while you are training for £10 per jump. You will be refunded £4 if you pack the parachute yourself after your jumps.
